Triangle Wines, Sanha Branco 2021

Triangle Wines was created with a vision of linking the best winemakers in the world with fairly unknown terroirs and grape varieties. Now into its third iteration, legendary Portuguese winemaker, Dirk Van Niepoort, has taken up the mantle with his Sanha Branco 2021. It's made from a blend of organically grown Maria Gomes (Fernão Pires), Bical and Cercial; with each vine between 50-80 years old. It bursts with notes of bruised apple, pear, a little orange zest and chalk. The medium-bodied palate is balanced with a good level of acidity and clean finish; all supported by more gorgeous minerally-herbal flavours. A knockout with shellfish.
